Posted rather late today because we went out, en famille, with Rosie Mae for a lovely walk.
In fact, this is my main reason to be cheerful - the simple pleasure of walking with my family and my dog, in the sunshine, in the countryside, having a picnic and then getting lost on the way back. Perfick! Apologies for Grant's shorts - they're never usually allowed out of the confines of the garden, but his summer cut-offs are still packed away in the loft and we didn't have time to dig them out. Darling Rosie adores wallowing in mud - and then shaking herself off all over us, bless her!
Such a lovely day which really does remind me what is important in life.

What a beautiful view from the picnic blanket.

I'm off now to post this with Virginia at Celtic House. Have a lovely weekend, everyone!

Oh Jo what a lovely posting - someone else linking in with the simpler things in life - sheer bliss - family time, summer walks, picnic, love the idea of you getting lost lol! In reply to your question on my blog about images - they are definitely not me (in my dreams hun in my dreams) I find them from all sorts of places, usually hit the local market on a Saturday and buy a load at a pound each - sometimes I get magazines that aren't really appropriate and most of these came from these magazines LOL! My hubby was somewhat wide-eyed when I brought one home - my excuse it didn't look that bad from the cover and was in a plastic bag! His retort - it was in a plastic bag for a reason LMAO! What am I like - anyone - never one to waste things I managed to retrieve a few half decent photos from it before it hit file 13! Look at me go on the reply front my other name is Little Miss War and Peace - honestly!!!! A big thank you thank you thank you for picking up the button thing - I didn't have a clue if it would work but you've managed it - was giddy to see it!

Hope you have a beautiful weekend!
