Oh Jo I am so sending you the biggest cyber hug that I possibly can, losing a parent at any age is so very very very difficult and nobody can ever comprehend it until they too have to deal with it themselves! Though you will be feeling raw and sad at the moment as time passes look back on good memories and not the difficult ones. An Irish Blessing for you today
"May the road rise to meet you
may the wind be always at your back
may the sun shine warm upon your face
may the rains fall soft upon your fields
and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand"
All my love

Hi Jo,
I do not know so surely what I should write. I'm really sorry that you have lost your Daddy. I know, this is no consolation, but I did not want to go thus without word of your Blog. It is maybe good if you know that you are not alone.

Best wishes from Germany

Hugs and ***sparkles*** Jo for you and your family. I know nothing I can say will make you feel better - I too have lost a parent - but please know we are thinking of you. Remember the good times and the pain will pass - the hurt won't leave you but you'll learn to cope with it.

Jo, so sorry for your loss. Most of us were/are so close to our daddies; it is indeed a traumatic event when they leave us!

I found my way to your blog via the vintage gluebook ATC swap - I received one of your ATC's in the swap and want to say that I really love it! The torn paper background and the image with "we are not responsible for accidents or delays" is very whimsical. Love the composition, too. Thank you.
