The Wonderful Day

Another Moleskine double page spread for Collage Coterie! The original photo is another from an ebay job lot and is of Hampton Court, the summer palace of King Henry VIII. I loved how the photographer clearly wanted to get as much of the palace in the shot as possible, but that meant you can hardly make out the 3 people in the centre of the picture!

I'm imagining them up from the countryside for a lovely day out at Hampton Court.

What a wonderful book project you are doing here. I love your presentation. Will try to follow a bit more now that things are slowing down for me ;o)

The film was The Book of Eli with Denzl Washington. Have you seen it? I won't say any more in case you haven't seen it! xx

I love your layouts-- on ALL of the pages you've done! Great images! I have been to Hampton Court (over 30 years ago!) Doesn't it have a maze made of hedges?

Jo said...

Yes Nathalie, it does! It's not the largest maze in the world, but it was one of the first! It still had us walking up many dead-ends for 20 minutes or so until we found the middle (and got a sticker for achieving our aim - I'm in my forties and I wanted that sticker, how sad am I?!). x
