Dainty Daisies

The word set this week by Fiona in the inchybyinch challenge is 'dainty'. Why I found this one quite so tricky is beyond me but this is my offering after a couple of attempts. I have kept it simple with 'dainty daisies'. Today's interesting fact of the day is that the words 'dainty daisies' are printed on paper from a book that is 110 years old (Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens).

Sorry it proved a challenge Jo - but then you wouldn't want it too easy would you? lol! Love what you've come up with though - such a fab idea x

I do hope Fiona doesn't see that wonderful 's' word, Nathalie - or she'll set that as the next inchy challenge!

Hi!

Love your dainty daisies. Love that your 'dainty daisies' is SO old. Lovely font.

I was cutting the grass yesterday afternoon and there were two little daisies at the edge of the grass and I couldn't mow them!!! If they were dandelions they would have been GONE!

I'm finding dainty difficult too.... haven't done mine yet!!!! For some reason i keep thinking about cake! Are they sometimes called dainties? or am I just cake obsessed????

So pretty and dainty. I had a daisy cut out ready to add to my inchie but in the end left it as it was. Lovely inchie Jo - now I'm wondering what Monday's word will be !

By the way about the tat - I'd like a dragonfly on my lower back ! probably never will do it though. Jess wants a Celtic design on her hip. Roddy has told her that he wouldn't employ anyone with ( visible ) tattos which has put her of having one on her hand as she wants to follow him into the yachting world when she leaves college.
