Happy Valentines Day + Sunday Postcard Art

So this is my sweet Valentine, DH Grant.  Although it is a tatty old photo it is one of my favourites, taken by DD Hope a couple of years ago when we were all on holiday in sunny Spain.  We're a bit red and shiny but his big protective bear hug sums up how he looks after me and our two children.
And that gorgeous smile just makes me want to smile too!

Happy Valentines Day, darling.

The challenge this week at Sunday Postcard Art is 'Hearts'.  Forgive me for cheating a little, but I'm killing two birds with one stone, so to speak and hence I present the 6" x 4" card I made for Grant for his Valentine's Card.

I think it's got enough hearts on it to qualify, what do you think?!

aww Bless. Roddy likes the photos in our album best where I have a protective ( strong ) arm aound the children. I suppose he sees me as, The Mother. I always say to him "yes, but I want to be looked after too" and he has.

I am here with a lump in my throat - A photo that say's 'hands off she's all mine' - and a card to wring my emotions even more, sniff.

" I wonder by my troth, what thou and I did, till we loved "
John Donne

He sums it all up better than I ever could.
