Lovely Mail Days and First Blogiversary coming up!

Lucky lucky me!  I have had some sweet packages plopping through my letter box this week.

First was the return 'Bluebird' ATC from Kimberly (ArtJoyStuff), which is so sweet.  Don't you just love the nest?!  He, because he looks like a 'he' to me, came in a lovely stitched envelope.

Bluebird

Thank you Kimberly x

Next, I received a sweet Pay It Forward gift from my dear friend Penny from The Linen Shelf (and The Hen House).  Now Penny is all set to be a recipient of one of my Pay It Forward gifts (so close to completion I can taste the glue on the stamp) and she knew it wasn't the deal that she should make something for me, but she just wanted to.
  And I ain't complainin"!

This cute little tin has been painted and I love the black and white image on the top.  It is stuffed to the brim with little treasures, which I can't decide to keep in the tin or use them in my artwork.

Thank you Penny x

Lastly,  a brown paper bundle from Nathalie.  She had emailed me previously and asked if I would alter a coaster for her in an oriental/asian theme.  She's asked a few people to alter coasters and when she gets them all back she is going to alter a box for them.  What a lovely idea.  Anyway, the coasters (she sent 2, just in case inspiration should really take hold) and some interesting bits and pieces to get me started arrived yesterday.

She also made me this fun tag!

Thank you Nathalie x

I MUST first finish my Pay It Forward gifts, my 2 ATC's for Kristin, my Mail Art for the new group I'm in (the theme is 'Where I live'), the first postcard for the Postcard Swap I've joined, some Collage Club pages and THEN I will get started on the altered coasters.

I like Lovely Mail Days :0)

***

I have just realised that my first Blogiversary is coming soon (14th March).  That time has gone so fast and I have 'met' so many lovely people and seen and been inspired by so much talent and creativity.

~I'm thinking a little Giveaway is in order~

I'll have to put my thinking cap on (I'll have to find it first!) and I'll get back to you when I've thunked.

I must get in on the act. All we get are bills. I would much prefer little treasures dropped through the letterbox.
