Pay It Forward - Reveal

I am hoping that The Patient 5 (as I have come to think of them) have received their 'Pay It Forward' gifts from me by now (I know 2 definitely have), so the time has come to reveal the gifts - which may be small but they were made with love.

For each gal I altered some Scrabble tiles - the regulation 7 -(with the first letter of each word spelling out their name) with a stained wooden tile holder for them to sit on, and some postcard art.

***

For Penny

                                         (heart) PENNY (heart)

***

For Jan

  JANETTE

***

     (heart) SUSIE (heart)

***

                                                  DEIRDRE

***

And for Nathalie
not her name because I'd done that previously for her with inchies, so for Nathalie I spelled out........

  FAMILY (heart)

***
I really hope everyone receives their gifts - especially having waited for them since January!

I have linked each gal's name with their blog so why don't you go for a little blog hop and discover 5 lovely new blogs?!

I do LOVE your artwork Joanna - especially paired with the perfect quotes. I think I shall pose as an art group! Mind you what you would get in return might just set off the giggles.

How lucky your patient 5 are! Now I guess I am glad that no one wanted to play my Pay It Forward because I could never compete with your wonderful creations!

Lucky lucky recipients - altering scrabble tiles is genius! I've got some plastic letters out of a childs game that I haven't used and have been on the verge of throwing them recently - you've reminded me that we should simply reinvent them!

Thank you for sharing hope you are having a great day!

Wow, you did a lot of work Joanna!! I just posted pics of the beautiful pieces you sent to me on my blog this morning. Thank you so much for taking the time to make such fantastic pieces. My name seems so long when I think of you having to make so many Scrabble tiles!! It turned out fantastic, and the cool thing.. you used Elizabeth for the second E and that's actually my middle name. So you're even cooler than you know!! lol The postcard is gorgeous, the soft colors and the quote is fantastic. I love them. It was a really good day at the Post Office for me!!! Thanks Joanna, you made my day!

What great work--I'm terrible at the game of scrabble and this is a much better use of the tiles!!

I hope you're having a good week!!

Joanna, my friend. I cannot contain myself when I see your art - Hubby thinks I am having a "thing" because of the many times I go: "Ohhh... Haa... Oh, my... Look at that..." and so on.

Your 5 friends certainly were thrilled to receive those fantastic pieces!

You know what??... You ROCK, girl!!
Love ya!

JO!!!!
Thank you for my FAMILY of tiles!!!!!
Your package just arrived today (I am working at the PO so have your art propped on the Post Mistress's desk- that is my desk today) Your art improves this place! I love it!

I had completely forgotten about the PIF and that you were sending me something, so I suppose I really haven't had to practice patience. Ignorance is bliss. ;) So your packet was a wonderful surprise!

And I LIKE my postcard! Ha! Made me laugh. Since we have an inside joke about "ugly man" images. The quote is perfect. Could be accurate about cheap wine as well! hahahahahahaha!

I am completely inspired to alter Scrabble tiles now. Your art is WONDERFUL. THANK YOU!
(((hugs)))
