'They dreamed of foreign travel' (Green Paper April Challenge)

This is my entry for Mary's challenge at Green Paper.
It is a 4" x 6" postcard size, using at least part of all 3 elements supplied by Mary for this challenge.  I added a French postcard background and some French text.

These little girls, who I assume are sisters, look so solemn.
Maybe they felt confined in their lives and wished for exciting adventures.
Maybe they wished they were as free as the little bird flying above.

Jo - I love this - and I am glad not everyone has gone "digital" - I like those too but prefer to see how one can use real paper....well done. J

Showing us all how it should be done! It's fabulous Jo. You have developed a very distinctive style.

Stunning Joanna.
I love the image and (of course!) the French feel to it.

p.s. previous post deleted due to typos - the N on my keyboard keeps sticking!

I left a comment earlier this morning!! where has it gone? perhaps I pressed a wrong button. I am good at that.

I shall attempt to start again.

An URBANI you can clearly see her hand - she says, holding her chin and looking through one eye. Subtle beauty, imaginative, contains that hint of hidden poetry in the soul. Yes URBANI's have true evocative style.

THAT I may say is completely different to the earlier one - but I think I have made my point! so lovely.
