Gauche Art Doll Fun

Recently, some of the
girls had an 'Art Doll Gauche-Off'.
We were only 'allowed' to use
Gauche products.
You can read all about it on the
Gauche Alchemy blog
and see the dolls the others came
up with (some of those girls have
TWISTED minds, that's all I'll say!!).

It was just for fun,
only took an evening
and yes, it was lots of fun!

This is my gal, Pretty.

She started off life like this;

(Pretty basic)
a small dress mannequin
picked up in a charity shop.

(Pucker up!)
Her 'dress' bodice is
paper napkin stuck on with Mod Podge.
Her skirt is black paper and rectangle punchinella
stapled on (ouch!).
Her belt is micro film strip,
fastened with a bow button.
Her hair is black paper, curled.
As Pretty is the catwalk Queen
she is sporting a crown made out of a
Monopoly £100.

I added the quote by
Kate Halverson,

"If you are all wrapped
up in yourself,
you are overdressed."

Pretty now lives happily in my
conservatory studio overseeing
the madness that goes on in there!
