Summer of Color - Strawberry Lemonade Punch

The flavour of ice cream
given by
for the Summer of Color
is
Strawberry Lemonade Punch.

I prepped the pages in my Moleskine
with vintage book pages and gesso.

Onto this I then drew a paperweight
that I have (among others)
on my bathroom windowsill.

I made up the Haiku
to fit the image of the flower
forever frozen in time.

I can't believe we only have a
couple more flavours to go :o(
I am really enjoying taking part
and looking at the artwork that
everyone is producing.
There is so much variety
and creativity!

Oh that's fabulous Joanna as always - it is a shame that it's only six weeks of challenge - although I am hoping for a less pink ice cream this next week LOL!

Beautiful - you did a great job making it clear that it's domed, and not just a pretty circle. It's clearly a paperweight. And what a beautiful haiku to express exactly what it is! I love your shading too...
