We Are Tickled Pink!

The 'We {heart} Mail Art' 3
have been swapping
postcards and Mail Art again,
and this time the theme was
'Tickled Pink'.

To me, 'Tickled Pink' means fun,
so I had LOTS of fun!

This is the postcard I did for Jewels...

Gelli print background and
rather a lot of silliness on top.

The envelope
(that lady now looks like an alien!).

And this is the postcard I did for Lenna.....

More Gelli print,
more silliness.

 and the envelope.....

Here is what Jewels sent to me;
the postcard,

love the background, retro lady and
(cocktail induced?!) pink elephant!

....and the envelope,

with lots of glamorous shimmer and glitter :)
That cocktail recipe looks knockout!

Jewels' blog post and see the

And this is Lenna's postcard,

with yummy texture and funky background.

And the envelope,

pink, more pink and a dash of bright green :)

I like the sentiment on the back,
"WARNING
You may have art in your home
that you are unaware of", lol!

Due to holiday plans
and other arty commitments, we're going
to have a little break from our
We {heart} Mail Art swaps,
but we'll be back in August :)

Thanks for looking!

On the site where our spectacular property stands was once the home of State Senator Edward and Mrs. Bess Tickle. Mrs. Tickle, a great lover of flowers and of pink flowers in particular, named their hillside stone cottage ‘Tickle Pink.’ The enchanting stone cottage is gone, but the name and its traditions happily remain. Our guests return to the name they remember and the view and personalized
