It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Yep, I guess you all know that it's Christmas time,
and I'm a bit late to wish you all a Merry Christmas.

On Christmas Eve Hope and I
had a day in London, looking at the
Christmas windows and soaking up the
festive atmosphere.

We started off wandering along Carnaby Street,
along to Liberty (sale windows only so
they were papered over, boohoo).
We eventually went through to Charing Cross Road
and somehow got embroiled in a
heavily policed squatters protest.

Having managed to avoid getting arrested
we walked to Covent Garden,
passing some Police horses on the way.

At Covent Garden market there was the
 biggest Christmas tree...

and a rather over-sized reindeer too!

and we so had to do a Mum and Daughter selfie
in front of it!

I liked the life-size Lego Father Christmas
and reindeer...

...and I loved the massive Christmas baubles in the Apple Market.

Look at Coutts Bank on The Strand -
it had been turned into a MASSIVE advent calendar!

We really enjoyed our day
it kicked off Christmas perfectly :)

On Christmas Day we took Missy out for an
early morning walk.
It was cold, crisp and so beautiful.

It's said that the sun shines on the righteous, hehe!

and to finish this post off,
a Christmas Day photo of sweet Missy
with her second favourite toy,
Her Christmas present, Knobbly, is now
her bestest toy ever.
She SO enjoyed her first Christmas with us!

Tomorrow is getting back to normal, really,
with Hope going back to work :(
Oh well, it's been a truly lovely few days
at this
'most wonderful time of the year'.
