Summer of Color - Week 2

Kristin of Twinkle Twinkle has set the
colour combo, and it is

Pink: Pink: Orange.

I was inspired by a beautiful flower blooming
in my back garden and decided to keep it
simple with that one flower.

The colours I chose are :-

Permanent Rose: Inktense Fuchsia: Cadmium Orange Hue

and I gave texture to the pages with gesso
prior to painting.

Thank you for looking!

The texture from the gesso is there just enough to add some depth to the flower. The entire page just flows and fits together perfectly. While it may seem simple it really has a lot going on. Awesome job!.

Sometimes simple is the best. But I like all the details you included, including your Buddha quote.
